Counter Grid: Every Currency Behind the Counter
The full list inside the office: twenty, thirty or forty currencies in two columns on a landscape screen, with gold and silver if you deal in them.

What it shows
The same rows as the window board, in two columns once the list is long enough to need them. With about ten currencies or fewer it stays in one column with bigger rows; past that it splits, and past what two columns hold it pages through on its own. Customers at the counter read the exact rate they are about to get, and the column headers say which currency the rates are in (EUR, GBP, CHF).
Where it goes
A 55-inch or larger landscape screen on the wall behind the counter, at a height customers read without looking up too far. Two screens side by side can split a very long list: give each its own selection of currencies.
What you can change
- Which currencies each screen shows, and in what order (you set the order once, on the Rates page)
- Whether rates read as the price of the foreign currency (1 USD = 0.89 EUR) or units per home currency (1 EUR = 1.12 USD)
- The number of decimals and the unit for each currency (per 1, per 100, per 1,000)
- Colours, fonts, the footer line, the language of the labels

Works well with
The window wall facing the street and a spotlight for the rate you want to push.
