A bakery’s board changes with the hours: coffee and croissants at seven, sandwiches at noon, cakes in the afternoon, and by five half the bread is gone. A printed board shows all of it all day, including what you no longer have. With easyCMS the boards follow the day: the breakfast deal disappears at 10:30, the sold-out loaves are marked from your phone, and the cakes go on offer at closing time by themselves.
Every picture on this page is a real screenshot of an easyCMS template, playing a sample bakery menu.
Ready-made sets
The Bakery counter set is the three screens at the top of this page: pastries, bread and the breakfast deal. Cake display puts the cakes beside the cake orders.
Running the boards from your phone
All the boards read one menu, kept in Studio under Menu & prices.
Sizes
Half and whole loaves, a slice and a whole cake for six: each with its price, on one line.
Sold out
One tap when the last sourdough goes, one tap tomorrow morning when it is back.
Labels
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, new and house special, as small symbols beside the name.
Allergens
The 14 allergens of EU law stored with each product: gluten, milk, eggs, nuts and sesame are the ones customers ask about. They are not printed on the boards.
Import
Take a photo of your current price list, or upload a PDF or Excel file, under Import. Studio reads the products and prices and lets you check them before saving.
What you need in the shop
Screens. Above or behind the counter, 43 to 55 inches. A screen in the window facing the street needs high brightness to be read in daylight. If the screens hang near the ovens, check their operating temperature in the specifications.
Each screen also needs something to play on:
The easyCMS Android player
The easyCMS Android player, 499€, arrives ready to plug in, with a display licence included.
An Android box you already have
An Android box or Android TV: type myeasycms.com/apk in its browser to install the player (how).
A Windows PC
A Windows PC connected to the screen runs the easyCMS player, and the player itself is free.
A Samsung or LG professional screen
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) professional screens run the player themselves, with no box at all.
What it costs
| Line | Cost |
|---|---|
| easyCMS account, up to 5 screens, includes 1 licence | 49€ once |
| 2 × extra licence at 66€, in the same order | 132€ once |
| Three screens behind the counter | 181€ once |
Licences are 66€ each in the same order as the account, 99€ each added later. The bakery templates, the menu, the import and the sets are included.
| Year 1 | After 5 years | |
|---|---|---|
| easyCMS, 3 screens | 181€ | 181€ |
| A signage subscription at 10 USD per screen per month | 360 USD | 1,800 USD |
10 USD a month is about the middle of the per-screen prices in our Digital Signage Pricing Index, checked in October 2026. Screens and players come on top in both cases.
Several shops
One account runs the screens in every shop. Keep one menu for all of them, or a menu per shop. The PRO account at 299€ runs up to 25 screens.
What easyCMS will not do
No stock counting
You mark a product sold out from your phone. The till does not tell the board what is left.
No cake orders
The board tells people to order. The order itself is taken in the shop or by phone.
No design from scratch
You start from the templates and change the photos, colours and texts yourself. An expert hour is 25€ if you want someone to help.
Questions bakeries ask
Can the board change between morning and afternoon?
Yes. Each design on a screen can play always, at set times, or on a repeat: the breakfast board until 10:30, the lunch board until 14:00, the cakes after that. The screen switches by itself.
Can I put the cakes on offer at the end of the day only?
Yes. A promotion can run on certain days, between certain hours or on certain dates. From 17:00 to closing, the promotions board shows it with the old price crossed out.
Can I use photos of my own products?
Yes, one per product, from your phone or your computer. The photo cards and the spotlight use it. Studio has stock photos until you have taken yours.
What if the internet goes down?
The screens keep playing the last menu they received and pick up your changes when the connection is back.
