The Screen Only Shows the easyCMS Logo
The logo means the player is running with nothing it can play. Work through claiming, publishing, scheduling and downloads, in that order, to fix it.

Check in Studio first
Open My screens and find the screen.

Fixes, most likely first
- Add the screen. A player never added holds no licence, downloads nothing and shows only the logo. On a screen that has never played anything, this is the likely cause. Use Add a screen in Studio (or Add a display) from the same internet connection as the screen. Not listed? See A New Display Is Not Showing Up.
- Play something on it. In Studio, open a design in Designs, tap Play on…, tick the screen, choose Always and press Send. In the advanced editor, add an event in the Schedule with Add Event: type Layout, your layout, the screen, and Always for a first test.
- Check the timing. The event may have ended yesterday, start on Monday, or cover other hours. Read the schedule in the agenda view for that display, not the calendar grid: see Scheduled Content Is Not Playing.
- Publish the layout (advanced editor only). A layout stays a draft until you publish it in Design > Layouts, and a draft never plays. This catches almost everyone.
- Let the download finish. A layout plays only once every image, video and font has reached the screen. Allow one check-in plus the download: ten minutes on the logo is worth investigating, thirty seconds is not.
Tip Give every screen something that plays Always: in Studio, a design played with Always; in classic easyCMS, an event set to Always. Whenever nothing else is scheduled, your customers then see your content, not our logo.
